The dam area is not open to public and to go there one needs the permission of District Collector of Coimbatore district. Siruvani forests offers immense oppurtunities for trekking. There are only few shops selling drinks and snacks at Siruvani falls. The best option for stay and dine is at Coimbatore(40km away).
Route 1: Bangalore - Kanakapura - Malavalli - Kollengala - Chamarajanagar - Sathyamangalam - Coimbatore - Siruvani.
SETC, KSRTC and Indian Railways runs direct services Bangalore to Coimbatore. From Coimbatore TNSTC and private buses are available to Siruvani. Private cabs are also available at Coimbatore.
