Malalli falls is a waterfall lying in Kodagu district of Karnataka. The falls is on the base of the Pushpagiri hill. The falls lies on the Kumaradhara river and has a height of 60m. It is a two tier waterfall. The road approaching the falls ends at a spectacular view point.
Best time to visit Malalli falls is during the months of August to December. During the monsoon time there is will a lot of water and the whole area will be full of mist.
There is a homestay at the bus stop near to the falls called Kanika Homestay(Ph:08276201148,9535057585). The nearest town with food and dining options are at Somvarpet.
KSRTC runs direct services from Bangalore to Somvarpet. From Somvarpet one bus is available till Hanchinahalli(25km away). The bus leaves in early morning about 7:30AM and reached Hanchinahalli by 9:00AM. From Hanchinahalli the falls is at walkable distance of 3km. Private jeeps can be hired at Somvarapete.
